KHARTOUM - The Transitional Military Council on Tuesday issued a statement to the Sudanese nation on the events witnessed by the sit-in scene which led to the death of an officer and the wounding of others.
In the name of Allah the Merciful
the masses of Sudanese people
At a time when the steps of negotiation between the Transitional Military Council and the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change in a positive atmosphere in which the two parties reached advanced results in the hope of reaching a final agreement ... There are parties lurking in the revolution that have been disturbed by the results reached today and are working to abort any agreement reached and bring the country into a dark tunnel... These groups entered the sit-in area and a number of other sites and made programmed calls to escalate incidents of fire and other security raids in and outside the sit-in area and harassment and friction with citizens and regular forces that perform the duty of insurance and protections.
These events led to the martyrdom of an officer of the armed forces, the military police department (Major Kroma) and the injury of three other individuals, along with a large number of wounded and wounded of the protesters. We pray for all the martyrs and ask God to heal the wounded and wounded.
We must alert everyone to pay attention to these groups that try to undermine the armed forces and other regular forces and work to prevent us from reaching the goals of the revolution and confirm that we work with the brothers at the other end (the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change)
