I met with the Sudanese Transitional Council, headed by my brother Abdelfattah Al-Burhan, President of the Council, and a delegation from the Declaration of the Forces of Freedom, Change and other political forces.
There have been candid discussions with everyone, characterized by a high sense of responsibility and awareness of the accuracy and seriousness of the current situation.
It is my pleasure to address the brotherly Sudanese people with the following:
The unity, stability and sovereignty of the Sudan must remain a sacred and unquestionable ob I would like to emphasize that at a time when the Sudanese nation faces serious national challenges, selfishness, narrow interests, sectarian motives and individual political ambitions should not have a place in dealing with the crisis. active at all. Therefore, all other considerations must be subject to this supreme concern.
The duty of the army and the entire security system is to focus their efforts on protecting the sanctity of the homeland and its sovereignty and the security of citizens and their property, and to play an active and positive role in the transitional phase.
It is also the duty of the political parties to focus on the fate of the country in the future and not to remain hostage to the prejudices and obstacles of the past.
