Female-members of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Aisha Musa and Raja Nicola, confirmed their support for the activities and programs of the Political and Civil Women Group.
This came during their meeting at the Republican Palace today with the Group's delegation. The meeting discussed the Group's programs in the fields of education and environmental sanitation, in addition to women's social, economic and political empowerment and youth issues.
Dr. Ghada Salah Matar, a member of the delegation, said that the meeting discussed a number of items related to the community, including issues of peace, addressing the deficiencies in public education in the last ten years, and child issues.
For her part, Dr. Sumaya Hamid Mukhtar said that the meeting dealt with the issue of training and guidance because of their direct impact in changing the behavior of individuals and communities, especially as the group aims to change consumer behavior in society and transform it into a productive society.
